Trying to figure out the best way to hook this thing up. Going to have a kickdown cable going to the 2004r also. So far I'm envisioning the throttle cable running from the firewall between the carb and valve cover going all the way around the carb, or coming out and make a loop back towards the drivers side and heading straight to the barb linkage

Why not run it like mine? From what I understand, it is urban legend, that there is performance gained by having the carb turned that way. Or if there is, it's very little.http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...ps2hl7rjdd.jpg[/URL]

Well I used a cable to get to the throttle section of my Edelbrock 1404 on a Offy intake.
Also a Jegs brand throttle return spring bracket.

Got it figured out with the help of a 90 degree throttle cable guide off of an older Mitsubishi truck. I also used the bigger cable that came with it as well

Lookin' good. Lucky find with the 'Mitzi' part. You're running an automatic transmission, I guess. I ran my Holley 390 sidesaddle on an Offy 5416. With a manual SM465 4 speed, I had no need for kickdowns, so I hacked off the lower arm of the throttle lever as it interfered with the intake.
BTW what year is your chassis?

Here's a pic of how I routed my throttle cable. The Edelbrock 1404 is also 'sidesaddle' with throttle action to the rear and the manual choke in front.
