Patch panels
Does anyone make a patch panel for the lower drivers side fender for our trucks. I keep finding the passenger side patch panels but I can't find any for the drivers side. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Patch panels
You could get a donor fender and cut the part off that you need, and by the looks of things, this my be your only option

Re: Patch panels
Yeah but a lot of the fenders I'm finding in this area are all rusted out in the same spot. I'm surprised that no one makes patch panels considering you can buy an entire replacement fender and you can buy that patch panel for the pass. side

Re: Patch panels
If the cup is not too bad then you can fab up a patch pretty easy. The basic shape can be duplicated by making a tape template. Remove the tape and cut slits until it can lay down flat. Cut your tin. You can then overlay the original cup with the tin and work it into shape. Tack the cuts shut and then weld them up. This will give you you a simple lower outer portion of the cup less wheel lip and inner. Graft it in. If you have any experience metal shaping they can be fabbed up with simple tools. A hammer and shot bag and a tucking fork and a hammer proper for tuck shrinking. I can post a couple pics later as I have two examples at home.
