I have these rocker protectors that are made from alum diamond plate. My question does someone made nicer ones?

When i bought my suburban in 1989, it had that sandpaper style grips glued on the sills.
At the time i thought they were factory installed.

My Burban came with these installed. I vaguely remember the PO saying he got the from LMC. Not the best photos but they were never the subject of a photo.

I don't have a pic but I went to the local Ace hardware and got some non-skid that's used on stair treads. It's kind of dark gray to black. You can buy it in bulk. Covered most the sill and radiused the corners on the outside edges. Looked good and worked well.
