Bumper Crooked
Hey all! I used to have an old white bumper on my rig, but I went to the wrecking yard I work at and grabbed a chrome one with those chrome/rubber uprights. My old bumper was lower on the drivers side by about half an inch, so i thought it was just damaged. But when i put the bumper on it was also crooked. So how would I go about raising the drivers side half? I thought about some spacers but that would only work on the corner bracket, correct? Thanks for reading!

Re: Bumper Crooked
Also, I'm guessing my frame is bent because i used to brackets, but I could be wrong.

Re: Bumper Crooked
There should be a little adjustability between the bumper/brackets/frame. Try loosening the side that is off, adjust the bumper and tighten down while holding it in the correct position.

Re: Bumper Crooked
check your core support mounts and make sure they are holding the core support the same height from the frame on both sides, maybe the sheet metal needs some tweaking

Re: Bumper Crooked
I'll have to check on that. I just got off work I'll have to get some pictures in the morning. It's not bad, but it's noticeable. Thanks for all your input!

Re: Bumper Crooked
My front bumper does the same, hangs down lower on one side then the other, doesn't look to have ever hit anything. I will loosen the bumper and brackets and put it all back together and see if I can straiten it, I really figured that was all it needed.

Re: Bumper Crooked
I loosened the bumper from the brackets and that's what it was. The bumper studs have a bit of play in them, and I just jockeyed it up and it worked! Thanks!!
