Custom Audio sound USA-1 Stereo

I have been looking at this company for a replacement stereo for my truck because I'm not hacking up my dash and I don't want one under the seat. Anybody have any experience with these guys or the USA-1? It seems like I have read mixed reviews.

worst quality only topped by the worst customer nonservice in the industry

for me the best sound i ever got out of it was when i took the BFH and smashed it to bits

Haha. Looks like I'm not getting it then!

I've not owned one, but for exactly that reason - I've never heard of ANYone that had a good thing to say about them. If you have an original radio to work with - I like the idea of making it work like a modern radio with original looks.
2 such vendors - have heard only GOOD things about them:

WEll, if you already have a radio, let me suggest this:

I have one in my Dart, it works perfectly. I can listen to anything I want...and it took like 10 minutes to install!

I went with a Model One from RetroSound. This radio has absolutely rocked for me! I really like the different connect options, USB, Flashcard, and two cable connections (face and rear). I have it wired directly to my kickpanel and center dash speakers. I use the rear RCA jack to power a Rockford Fosgate 500 watt mono amp pushing a Fosgate loaded speaker box with shallow 12" sub. This setup is more than enough stereo for me.
