1991 gmc grille options

so im looking for a good replacement grille for a 1991 suburban. its going on my 1987 gmc 3500, i already have the core support and all ready, and gm headlight bezels, but i need a grille. i bought the lmc grille and the emblem they say will fit it, but i got it and the grille has a pad for the emblem, but the "c" of the emblem hangs around an inch off the end of the mounting pad, and to top it off the emblem they sell you showed up in a gm box. i ran the number through the computer at the gm dealership my dad works at and the emblem is nearly half the cost of how much they charge for it. they are basically screwing you out of 30+ dollars. so needless to say its already on its way back to them. so if anyone knows of a good factory style grille replacemnt, and where to get an emble that will fit it, id greatly appreciate it! thanks!heres a pic of the grille and emblem i need on another truck for reference.

Hahaha...I got the same grill set-up on my '85. I ordered a new grill (just the mid section) from LMC. I didn't want to pay for the high dollar GMC emblems, so I got an aftermarket billet emblem. Sure enough I measured and measured and my C still stuck out an 1" over the landing. I thought I just got a bad grill or something. I'm jus glad I'm not the only one

ya, kinda crappy. Its really hard to beat real GM parts ha I'm probably going to find a used grille with a good emblem, and buy a replacement grille made to accept the stock emblem. not sure tho, I'm hoping someone on here will have a better answer for me.
