Carb and manifold

I have asked about this before, but I am going to order the stuff soon, so I just want to see if anyone else has any recomendations.

Which would be better, an Edelbrock performer intake and a 1406 carb, or A Weiand Action + intake and a Holley 4175 650 cfm carb. I also plan to add an HEI, Hooker Headers, and a cam. (not sure which one, depends on what I decide on the other stuff and when I have the time and $$)

I have the performer intake and the 1406 carb on my hi po 383. Have to say I am very happy with it. Nothing against holley fans, but I just prefer edelbrock products. 2 cents, mine only.

Edel if you want to set it and leave it. They seem to work the best. Edel has some new manifold that they clain works even better with there 1406. Take a look for it. Summit has them
