LS Swap Electric Speedo face and template
 

This is for everyone who has been asking for this electric speedo kit as seen in this thread. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...?t=512751These will come with the speedometer face, the template to paint the numbers and a template to make both the mounting piece and the rear cover.They are $30 shipped. In the speedo thread you will find another member that can make the mount and cover box for you, 67c10rustbuket, but you will need to contact him about them.Please reply in this thread. Thanks.

Edit: I have been selling these things for several years, at the original price of $30, but unfortunately my printer has upped the cost, and shipping has gone up as well, so I will now have to charge $40 shipped for the kit. Hate to have to do it, but just the way it goes sometimes.

I know what you mean, I'm a Nova guy, and if there was any way to get an electric speedometer to work on a long sweeping gauge, I'd be on it. The problem is every factory electric speedo I've seen moves about 270* sweep of the speedo face where as the long sweep speedos only use a 90* sweep. I looked for a long time with no success. I'm sure it could be done, but to modify the actual movement amount is way above my level of knowledge. My Nova has a Cable-X on it, but I see now that Dakota Digital has a new version that seems like it's a little nicer. Might look into that.

Did you know the 91-93 Caprice had an electric sweep speedo? Could work for a swap in an older sweep style speedo

I am trying to do that exact swap at the moment. A friend found this cluster on ebay for $37, so I figured I would give it a shot. I am going to use all of the gauges out of the cluster since I would have to have a new gas gauge anyways. I will hopefully know soon whether or not this will work.

Also forgot to post this pic up. Will have to cut a new plate to allow for the odometer and trip meter to be seen. Also gotta figure out how to get the gas gauge to swing the proper direction. All in due time.

On a side note, this should probably be in the speedo thread in the LS swap section rather than the for sale area. I don't mind much but the mods frown on it.

Went by the printer and he said his machine that cuts out the number parts of the stencils was not working. He said to check back tomorrow, HOPEFULLY I'll have them soon. Sorry everyone for it taking so long. :waah:
