Heres another sighting as well. . .Silence of the Lambs. It was during a sequence where she was drifting back in time to her days as a child, a slick black short-wide GMC drives past. Damn nice looking ride.

yup, I brought that one up that last time one of these threads was brought up. Also there's this movie with bruce willis and billy bob thornton in which they play bank robbers and one of their guys drives a 72 suburban.

I was board tonight and nothing was on other that Josie and the *****cats. (catchy name) Rachael Leigh Cook adjusts the carb of her boyfriends 69-72 for him. Not a bad looking gal.. I mean truck.

There's a 67-72 lwb in the last shootout scene of "the way of the gun"

MandarinSixSeven 06-18-2002 02:34 AM

The best use of a 67-72 truck in a movie is HANDS DOWN in "Dazed and Confused" its sooo awesome, they rip around in it a couple times doin fishtails and burnouts, i usually rewind it about 3 times minimum, my buddy had to buy the movie after seeing that truck in there...soo soo cool
everyone on this board should rent it and watch it, i guarantee it will get you so pumped!

Hey, here is a recent siting. Today's local (& national) Seattle news. Female school teacher on trial, charged with raping two of her male students...In the teacher's driveway...two of our trucks! She has to be innocent!

How about a "Disney original" movie. "Horse Sense". Has a '69 flatbed that gets quite a bit of screen time. One of those *&^% Lawrence brothers sits on the hood though.

chucks70 06-18-2002 10:23 PM

Just watched Independence Day for the 20th time. When Wil Smiths character pulls into Area 51 checkpoint, guess what he and the Alien he captured are ridin in.

Eddie H. 06-18-2002 10:41 PM

Robert Duvall drives a nice classic 71 or 72 in "Tender Mercies"

jason 06-18-2002 10:54 PM

I saw the last 20 minutes of Earnest Scared Stupid and there is a 69-72 truck there with a flat wood bed That earnest runs the troll over with . I am going to watch that movie later on and see exactly what year it is.

Just saw a another one, in Stephen King's "Thinner" there is a blue panel with a white top. It' when the movie first comes on and later on when the mob guy attacks the gypsy camp. And the one in "Josie " is a Longhorn.

sigurd 06-19-2002 06:03 AM

sniper2321 06-19-2002 10:23 AM

ED TV has a cool looking blue/white 67-72 screechin around the city with a camera crew in the back. Very nice looking truck. Beautiful Girls has a 4x4 in it with a plow. There was also a reality TV show about a series of murders in small New England town and one of the chicks was driving a black 67-72 4x4 in almost every episode, Murder In Small Town X......that's what it was called
