Looking for the top curved bracket to tighten driver side alternator on a ‘70. Thanks.

you need the long skinny bracket shown in top of pic? I'm pretty sure I have one. I can check tonight.

Yes. I believe that’s what I need. I’m putting together a puzzle I bought and i have the lower bracket that bolts on the head. Just from searching pics, that’s what I’m missing

If you plan to run tall valve covers you will need the longer style one from a 72. FYI

well I couldn't find the one that I thought I had so I must have got rid of it already but I did find an after-market chrome tall one so let me know what you think and I can send you a picture

The one 402Bowtie has is the longer style that’ll clear tall valve covers.

'69 GMC, how do you want to proceed?

I found this style in a pile of parts. This one should work shouldn’t it? Seems to bolt to the water pump instead of the lower bracket at he head.

If he doesn’t want it 402Bowtie I’ll take it
‘69 GMC that will work. Appears to be maybe the 67/68 style upper arm. See no issues in why it wouldn’t work.

I'm not sure what to tell you. I'm not an expert on these brackets.

I apologize for holding up the sale. I was going to get bolts for the water pump pulley after work today and see if what I have will work.
