But it comes complete with the horn screws they don't sell at Ace. I really like it and would buy it but I know I'd have a hard time finding the matching horn button.

He lives in Lake Elsinore...

He’s obviously drinking water out of the lake.

Guys like that get all sorts of messages, from folks asking why it’s priced so high to folks berating/insulting/etc. him for putting up a listing like that.

Ya know, it may be the way criminals/spies/gang bangers/terrorists/etc. communicate...”If I put the wheel up for $500 it means we’ll meet at 5 or “If I put it up for $300 it means you need to whack Louie....”

Thanks... Right!! It all makes sense to me now.

I have one in my barn that has no cracks and is 95%. Must be worth ten times this amount. :)

You guys just have no appreciation for the expertise of this GM truck guru. It was simply a typo when he included years '67 and '68 but this is an extremely rare "Ventilated" wheel. The only other "reasonable" explanation is that his thinking may be clouded by smoke and not from the forest fires.

Re: “Extremely rare Original vintage Chevy steering wheel”

I passed on an NOS blue steering wheel for my truck because he wanted $650 or $850 for it, and I knew he paid a third of that for it (I know who HE bought it from). So its never sold, and there's still one out there. I figure if _I_ didn't buy it for -my- restoration, no one is going to!

I paid WAY more than for the one in my Pontiac 2+2 but it shares parts with Camaro and Corvette and those guys bid the prices up...

I assume you mean cracked green one and not NOS blue one? :-) . If you've got an NOS blue one, email me at davepl@davepl.com !

I was just joking. Mine is blue and not in as bad of shape. But after seeing this thread, I did some checking and mine was originally white. It has the olé rattle can rebuild
