70 SWB 4X4 FleetSide F/S

4 Attachment(s)
54,000 original mile truck w/auto and A/C.

Not really a 'restored' truck, everything is still factory original but the body has been repaired. (repaired correctly)

Exterior has to be painted and then reassembled but rust repair and interior paint are completed.

$12K as it sits today.

Pics of it before the tear-down, how it sits now and a link to the build thread.

Not if I met ya half way. ;)

I'd be willing to do that if I could find another load when I headed north again.

not positive i'd rather have it than mine, i searched for years for it, but i sure like the 4x4's. mine's all original as well, and i have nearly everything for a short conversion, frame, driver's nos side, steel floor, plus some nos stuff for the resto, so i'm a long ways on it as well. hate seeing stuff like this, be nice if i was rich instead of so darn good looking. wait, i'm not either one.

how much of the body work is done? what, if any sheet metal would be needed? do you have any new parts to go back together with it?

Find yourself a buyer for GQ and I'd be happy to deliver it for ya.

Figured I'd stop by anyway.

Body work is done, all rust is gone, everything is sitting with epoxy primer on it.
Although the hood has yet to be sanded/primered but that's nothing big to deal with, it's in great shape as it sits.

Even have the paint for it.

Bench seat needs to be recovered and carpet still has to be ordered.

Do have a new dash bezel for it, swapped over the gauges awhile ago.
I have everything to make it complete.

Thing is, it's an original truck.
One of only 2500 made in 1970, with only 54,000 miles.
Numbers matching engine/tranny etc.

Disk brakes? Power Steering? A/C?

Is the wiring intact?

1970 trucks had drums, still stock.

Yes, power steering.

Yes, A/C.
Worked when I got it a couple years ago.

Wiring intact, save for the rear bed harness. (bed is still off)
Install a battery, provide some fuel and it will start.
