84 Suburban Cargo Door Weatherstripping Issues

Hi All,
I recently installed new weatherstrip on the rear cargo doors of my 1984 C20 Suburban and have had nothing but trouble since! The driver's side door closes alright, but won't seal at the top of the jamb. It acts likes there's material interfering in the closing of the door at the hinges. The passenger side door hits the driver's side door and barely closes at all! I've tried adjusting the doors at the hinges and striker plates, but I seem to have bottomed out the adjustment on both ends. The hinges on the passenger side seemed worn out so I ordered a new set from the junkyard but I can't figure out the culprit for the passenger side. Any suggestions?(!)
