1973 GMC Sierra parting out

Some parts left; its rolling.

1.00 to whatever depending upon what you are looking for.

Is an A/C truck.

If it has the sport rear bumper, I would be interested in the brackets.

I am also interested in the front bumper brackets.

Can you post a few pics of the truck?

Hi!

No sport bumper but I think it has that heavy step unit out the back we typically see.

On the front brackets, I should have those bolted to the bumper I pulled from it.

Be patient as I have it stored about 45 minutes from here and will need to go take pics of it.

Bummer about the rear bumper, but if pics are possible...that would be great. There are other parts I may be interested in, just need to see the truck first.

Re: 1973 GMC Sierra parting out

I dont think I have ever seen a sport rear for the early 73 era trucks.

Got a pic of one???

I have the 72 units for the rears; are they alike in appearance???

This thing is a roller.

I pulled the 454 & TH400 from it and what's left is the cab with whatever is left to pick from.

The bed is there bad badly beaten, so thats a loss.

Interior stuff probably and some A/C stuff I suppose.

Core support.

Fenders werent too great but I guess could be used.

Might have a nice hood from it + an extra hood as well if I remember correctly.

There's a 14-bolt in the back.

Good for parts before it goes off to the metal scrapper!

List a few things you know the truck has that are sellable , and a price for them...that should be acceptable and follow the forum rules.

Here is a pic of the sport bumper on my 73.

Conundrum has first dibs on the grills.

$75.00 each.

One I am sure is really good the other probably just a runner.

Rolling frame as is: $75.00
and whatever else is still mounted to it.

I am unaware that they were different from SBC ones.

I was under the idea that GM changed it in the rubber motor mount design and not the frame stands like they had in 71 and 72 respectively!

I thought that the 73 and up's were the same frame stand.

If so, I will have to go and look first before I can correctly answer this!

Nice!

Looks like the suburban unit to me, but I get it!

I don't have that bumper; only the heavy rear dealer unit.

Are the frame brackets to this bumper different than the suburban ones????

you dont happen to won an rpoz11 do you? just noticed your username. In my dads time, he knew of one motor and one car. both dissapeared about ten years back. One of the guys had a cracked head off it, they kept blowing a headgasket when they ran the motor in the guys track car, me and my dad talked to the guy a few years back and last he knew it was on a hedgerow, then gone. Crazy cars in theri day.

And yes, from what i understand the framestands are different going to a bigblock, if not i dont need them. Ill search myself.
