Hey im hoping someone has seen or knows anything about this truck,my title cassifies it as VA which is a van im wondering if this was a factory option of sorts to have a dually one ton or if its completley custom this thing has straite 6 witj manual tran on the floor, i paid i think 1500 for it a few years back and drove it out of a field. I havnt done anything with it in a couple years. Should I put work in on it if its a rare find. Or is it a waste of time an not worth ****.. any info would be appreciated.

Re: 68 dually
First and for most Welcome to the Board.
That looks like a Cab and Chassis truck. Look at the Frame. If it is level from center of the rear axle to the back it is a cab and chassis. Also look at the info on the vin on the drivers side rear door jamb. Are you in Portland /OR/ TN? |

Re: 68 dually
The cab looks nice enough to work on.
The box on the back could have been installed later in life. Get a picture of the SPID inside the glove box and we can tell more about the cab. Bill |
Re: 68 dually
Yes it has a value and is worth messing with. Neither the bed ot the dual rear wheels are factory. What does the option sheet (SPID) say on the inside of the glovebox? Does the VIN start out CS2 or CS3? Does it list dual rear wheels as an option?

I forgot about the other options for Cab &Chassis. Attachment 1804209 Rain City here's a list of Chassis info. I see you got a 133" Wheel base by the SPID |
Re: 68 dually
I don't see any tire or DRW option. So came through as a single wheel. I wonder what size wheels are on front, 19.5 or 17.5? The fourth digit is a 3 so it's a cab & chassis model. I'm curious what rear is under it. Could you take a picture and measure between tires?
