11/82 Suburban K10 6.2l

Just picked up a nice 83 burb with a 6.2. Anyone else have a diesel burb?

I have a diesel K5, one of the military trucks. Great engine, just poor on power. Post up pics when you can.

Def will. I know one of the downfalls is the small exhaust pipes, so I am going to put larger pipes out back!

I missed that, suspiciously military looking. Not just that it's the stencil they use but the color too. I don't remember seeing one of those on my mil-blaze or think that's necessarily what it though. Just odd and worth digging.

^^ Yea, I've never seen it but also not familiar with the military rigs very well.

I don't have paperwork on it yet so idk if it was ex military. What are some other signs of being a military rig?

No AC, no carpet, window cranks, no interior trim, no cigarette lighter in the ash tray. They spec'd them as bare as possible. Military Blazers don't even have arm rests on the rear seat.
