Windsield Wiper Delay

Ready to ship! Still just $56.95 shipped to the continental US.

Originally, I started this project as a windshield wiper delay unit specifically for 67-72 Chevy Trucks. It has now evolved into a multi year adaptable unit for Chevrolet cars and trucks with electric wiper motors. Fully compatible with GMC as well. This device gets wired into your existing circuitry with no cutting, splicing or modification of your wiring harness and it can be taken out before you sell your project and put into your next one! Normal wiper/wash(if equipped)operation is not affected as this unit provides the necessary pulse of ground to activate your wipers at a desired interval between 3 and 30 seconds. Two speed wipers require a short, properly terminated jumper(included if you need it) No more reaching for the wiper knob every few seconds to clear the windshield, this unit takes care of it for you with its remotely located control. The control potentiometer contains an intergral on/off switch. The control can be installed into a 5/16" hole. Mounting can be up to three feet from the control box, your imagination is the limit. The module box weighs just a couple of ounces, how you fasten it under your dash is up to you(quality elec. tape, zip ties). As long as your wiper switch utilizes Packard 56 style connectors, then this should work for you. I use the correct connectors with correct crimps as shown. All crimps are now soldered. Completely assembled and ready to install.

Are you now making them with the switch external from the box?

Dang. I like that a lot, I bought one from you that was the first design so is there any way to make the potentiometer switch external from the box? The unit works amazingly its just awkward reaching under the dash sometimes

I appreciate that. We've been getting huge amounts of rain here in CO this week, so once the rain is gone I'll get it out of the truck and sent out to you.

That's the beauty of the unit, 100% reversible with no cutting, virtually plug and play. All that along with "service after the sale". If this sounds like a sales pitch......it is. I have a bunch of units to move. LMK. when you are ready to ship, I will turn it around in a day or so. Thanks again for the great feedback. With that said, I will Retro fit any fist Gen wiper delays that have been sold to next gen, free. Just pay the freight round trip.
