I actually really like the factory 67-68 style wheels. I finally broke down and bought one of the repos (Yes, $$$) but it's actually a really nice wheel. Unfortunately, they're only available in black right now.

They're also a little smaller, the 67-68 wheels are +/-16.5" and the 69-72 are +/-17.5".

That's the wheel I plan to use except in medium blue. They have them at Year One.

Dogue, Econman - after the factory wheels, that one is about the best looking one that can go into these trucks imo. Nice when color coordinated too if the column paint color is the same as the interior metal color (in a non-black truck).

My cab is stripped and in paint jail. Funny you should mention column color... I just took it to be rebuilt and painted in the same paint as the cab interior.

Good call! For non-black truck, I think a black rim wheel looks fine with a black column (ala factory tilts) and I think a color rim and column that matches interior color is also a good way to go. Not a fan of black wheel with different color column or vice versa. Just my personal 2c. I've seen the aftermarket blue version of the wheel you're talking about and I think it will look awesome with your blue column/interior.

#1 picture. My 68 ramp truck with stock wheel. #2 picture is the wood Impala wheel I just bought to install in the ramp truck.

The 3rd & 4th picture in my C 10 with 67 SS Chevelle wheel.

The last picture is the old Corvette wheel in my 71.
