72 one piece high hump cab floor
Does anyone know if the one piece high hump cab floor is still available? I see venders listing the low hump versions.
Thanks, Ray |
Re: 72 one piece high hump cab floor
I have never seen a one piece high hump floor. The reproduction high hump floors are made just like the original. The hump bolts in. Check board venders such as Classic Heartbeat or GMC Pauls. They sell the reproductions.

Richard, thst is what I meant. I used to see them listed with the cut out for the hump. All that I see now seem to be the low hum version.

Re: 72 one piece high hump cab floor
My 68 is a low hump and it came with a Powerglide originally. The PO installed a TH400, and it fits under the low hump without any issues, unlike what others have encountered.

Re: 72 one piece high hump cab floor
The big blocks with turbo 400 were high hump. The small blocks with th400 were low hump.

Thats what I like. I never new that the big blocks turbos were high hump.

Re: 72 one piece high hump cab floor
I'm really not sure the reasoning for that because I have seen ppl put big blocks in small block trucks and the transmission fits without modifying the tunnel but that is how gm did it. No hole in the hump for the big block auto trucks.
