no 4X4
 

my 92 s-10 had 4x4 last year but this year it doesn't engage, the light on console lights saying it is engaged but it doesn't spin the tires/wheels. what is the most common problem or are there more then 1. thanks

My nephew said his did that and it was a vaccuum hose broken .

also could be a busted diaphram in the vacuum canister that actually pulls the engagement cable...I've also had the vacuum switch on the t-case go bad
