1963 K-10 Build - Short Bed / Fleetside
 

Not that I needed another project, but this one came available so I jumped on it.

It is a GMC SB Fleetside, but has the later style C-10 hood and tailgate.

A buddy took this apart in '99 to redo it. He got a lot of stuff done, but it has just been sitting apart for a long time. He needs some space.....so the deal is done.

It is in pieces, but a lot of good is already been done.
Any rust has been removed and replaced.
Bed Wood is replaced, stained and in place
New later model 40/60 seat and belts. Mounts are welded in place
New Glass and Seals
New Grill, rechromed front bumper
All the parts are there.

Best part. I get to take the rolling chassis home to get painted and ready and dont need to take the body for a few months.

Has a freshened SBC, otherwise stock.

Picked up some axles to have discs and the open knuckle front, have a 12-bolt rear but will need to relocate the spring perches in.

Only pics of the chassis for now. Body is up on a lift.
