Is this right??? (Leaf Springs tilting fwd)

I ordered stock replacement rear leaf springs from SD Truck Springs and installed them for 72 Blazer.

With the axle off and or on they are tilting forward. Does anyone know if this is normal or is something not right here?

Here's a pic of my 72 K20 with 4" lift BDS Springs. my springs have a wedge on them for pinion angle.

Looks like you have the wrong u-bolt plates. The spread looks too wide, like they are for a bigger axle. The u-bolts should fit the axle snug on the sides, not just bottom. They should also be snug on the sides of the springs and I see daylight. I don't that has anything to do with what you are asking and I'm not clear on what your concern is from the pictures

The forward angle is normal.

I talked with a local 4x4 shop and the angle is normal.. They plate is from ORD. I'll have to call them and find out if this is to big for my application.

Thanks for the replies everyone

Mike

They say the plates are supposed to work with stock springs.. I only have them hand tight at the moment so I'll double check to see if tightening them will make it flush with the springs.

It could just be how they look in the picture. It was the 4th picture that caught my attention. To me they look wider at the top and not tight at the center point of the axle. But maybe that's above the center. Tight to the sides of the springs may not be that crucial (5th pic), but you could pull the bottom of the "U"s inward
