i am not a modeler' of any sort but surfing the web this morning i stumbled across this. and thought wow. how cool is this. this got me to wondering if this forum had a special place for such things. and to my surprise yes it does.

That is way cool! I so badly want to get into the RC 4x4 thing one of these days.

I wonder if they used this RC truck body on the one in the video? This is some cheap childs toy RC truck I ran across and bought just because I liked the way it looked. I've never even put batteries in and played with..it just sits on the shelf in my office when I am not bring it outside to take a picture for you guys :lol:

Yeah I've seen this guy on you tube before but not the chevy truck. It is very cool. This guy has some serious skills. Not to high jack but here's a vid of him making a 77 Ford from wood. It is amazing what this guy is doing from simple materials.

He has built himself a real nice collection. I noticed a comment from him on a RC forum where he said the weight of the wood bodies make the vehicles act more like the real thing. If you watch a couple of his videos, I believe he has a good point.

you are correct. when i saw his 67 fargo movig about in the snow i thought it was the real thing until the wine of the motor gave it a way.
