I call BS. How the hell do you add 1200 lbs of battery plus and big electric motor and only be 200lbs more than when it had a gas engine.

Got rid of that "environment scorching" gas engine. Saving the environment one 58 Apache at a time, LOL.
It's an interesting truck, though.

It's easy to see how someone could wrap up 100K into having one like that built.

A more practical conversion might be swapping the whole chassis out from under a damaged Escelade type hybrid. That would pull good mileage and still be able to run with the big dogs on the highway.

What a beautiful truck! Where are the spark plugs? ;) So when its batterys go bad~ then what? I betcha see smoke pouring from the nuclear generators when they plug it in to recharge! haha!

I saw this on a TV show up here in Canada about 6 months back.
It's cool...and NORMALLY there is no smoke from nuclear reactors (normally).
