Instrument cluster options

Found an interesting instrument cluster on eBay that has a clock and tachometer that will fit 1960-1963. Were these common? First I have seen one with those options.

I've never seen it, but then I've only ever worked on maybe 50 of these trucks in my whole life. Looks like factory, though.

Re: Instrument cluster options

That style of gauge cluster (minus the clock & tach) was standard equipment in the 70 & 80 series conventional cab trucks (and 60 series with V8 engines) from 60 through 62. And standard equipment in 50 through 80 series for 63.

It was also available as an option (RPO 301) for 61-62 in the 10 through 60 series trucks. And as RPO Z51 for 63 in 10 to 30 series trucks.

The tachometer was a separate option, RPO 266 for 60 to 62, and RPO U16 for 63+.

The clock (as described in the eBay listing) is a custom (but stock appearing) addition that is unique to the clusters restored by that company.

The factory clock goes on the middle of the dash. Not in the cluster
