Thanks! Any recommendations on getting a good quality cloth seatcover for my 87 bench seat?

I acquired a couple more trucks. Anyone got a couple more of these modules laying around?

I had a couple of these from different cars. 91-96 Caprice/Roadmaster and 93-02 Camaro/Firebird

Some had a solid tone sound while some had a ding-ding sound. I prefer the ding-ding sound over the tone one.

Also one of the Roadmaster ones I found had a separate plug for the Turn-signal minder. I used it and just cut the extra plug off and still works great.

FYI - I put it in my '85 Custom Deluxe and it was already wired for it. Just snapped in and worked. My buddy was so impressed that we wired one into his '74 Camaro! That was more wiring than just snapping it in!!

Sorry Rob. Didn’t find any in my stash of parts. Guess I gave them all away already. Sorry I couldn’t help.

I don't think so.

Next time I'm at Pull a Part, I will look for one.

A Possible Solution :

Take the GM part number and try junkyarddog.com or Amazon, The bay of E etc....

The Headlamp warning option is RPO T63.

The "extra wire" in the RPO T63 equipped trucks is from the instrument panel lamps. I believe the ground is from the key inserted switch in the column.

I know this is a super old thread but I know you know wiring better than anyone else on here. Do you know what year c10s that this is a direct plug and play? I am guessing the 1981 and newer squares but it would be nice if it worked on some of the other ones. As usual, thanks for your knowledge in advance.

Anyone know the part number for the "Ding dong" modules? The solid ton is extremely annoying...

At least as far back as 1976 the seatbelt and key-in-ignition buzzer could be outfitted with the headlamp warning.
You'd have to add the wire from the parking lamp side of the headlamp switch to the buzzer jack IIRC.

This is how I have a 22535998 chime module hooked up on my 75 C10 to let me know that my lights are still on.

When I open the door with the head lights or parking lights still on the module will chime. I had to hook this up after coming out of stores to find a dead battery because I forgot to turn the lights off.

Run a wire from the door jamb ground switch to pin 3 and over to pin 6 on chime module.

Run another wire from the top plug on the head light switch to pin 7 on the chime module.
The top pin on the head light switch has 12 volts on it when the parking lights or headlights are on.

By using the door jamb switch as ground for pin 3 & 6 the module does not need 12 volts constant power to make a chime.

Found a 7-pin model on eBay (22533568), wired it up on my 62’ K10 as described and I now have a nice chime for my headlight warning.
Thanks for all the help.
