Will 73 and up C-30 spindles fit?

Will the spindle from a 73 and newer C-30 fit a 68 C-30?
I'm wanting to put disc brakes on the front for better stopping.
If it come down to it, will the whole cross member fit without problem?

Here is a pretty good thread on the subject.

A long read and some different opinions but good info too. I'm wanting to do the same.

Yes, whole crossmember will work, some holes don't 100% line up but it's easy enough. I replaced ball the joints on my truck so I used '84 ball joints/spindles and the '84 center link/steering parts on the '68 arms. Less work imo

Did the same thing on my 69, way easier since it needed ball joints anyways.

Good chance the 1 ton you are sourcing parts from is beat up and needs to come apart to be rebuilt

For sure! Both the '84 and '68' had the original rivited ball joints!
