sweet! what are you doing for your shifter? Are you going to relocate the shifter to the forward position on your t56 or keeping it as it is?

What about your clutch pedal setup and clutch master?

Yes I moved the shifter forward. A little tricky to do but not bad. On Hyd clutch set up see Fabmans post in parts for sale, he has a kick ass set up that works fantastic.

Yes, Fabmans setup is very nice. Any chance you can post a picture or two of your shifter setup? Did you buy the front conversion kit (like $300-400) or did you just add some metal to your shifter to bring it forward inside your cab? howabout a clutch pedal setup picture also?

Yes I bought the $400 kit to move it. Found a thread on here that made it a lot easier to do than totally dis assemble the trans. Put stock pedel in , very simple and Bought Fabmans linkage, works perfect. Hopfully pics load

Sorry the pic is Messed up. Fabmans product works fantastic. Mine is modified because I didn't see his before I did mine. We just push from opposed sides. Wish I would have seen his first, it's much better

Small set back, bleeding the clutch and the slave Cyl leaks like a sieve, pulled trans, waiting on new slave cyl.

Hot Rod Harness out of Los Angeles did the harness, fits like a glove, has port for tuning. Just getting ready to set the Rad support and plumb it.

Up and running on it own power. Fenders and wells back on, temp exhaust hooked up so I can trouble shoot. Getting real close to road worthy. Drove it a little bit, LOVE the power
If your thinking about doing this swap, i say DO IT

We made a few changes like welding up the fire wall but the install wasn't to bad.
READ the instructions and take your time and it comes out just like they say it will. I still need to buy a compressor but the heat , fan and defrost work perfect.
I'll try and take some pics this weekend

I can't believe you are driving this around and you just left this thread hangin and no one has asked what's up. Just razzin you because this thread is years old and the last pic has no bed on your truck. HAHA! How about an update on your experiences with the longevity of the build? I have been PM ing you but I just found this thread. I love the close up pic of your clutch setup. This is how I was thinking of doing mine.

I drive it every day I can. Reliability is great. Just finished coil overs in the rear, wish I could afford the front - Huge improvement.
As far as the swap I couldn’t be happier run around on 90 deg days with AC on temp never gets over 210 which is where LS motors run. Having fun shifting and with the 390 gears in the Ford 9” and Detroit true trac posi Yea Ha
Thanks for asking
Steve
