Removing Cruise Control from my '85 silverado

I'm trying to clean up my engine bay and dash. One thing I'm having a little trouble with is the cruise control system. The vacuum control in the engine compartment (no idea what it's actually called) was removed by the PO. The wiring harness and control modules all still seem to be in place. I'd like to remove this harness (complete harness) and everything else but I'm just not quite sure what can actually go with out impacting anything else. I'm not finding very good info on my early web searches.

So far, it seems I can just unplug the wiring harness from all of the modules and remove it. There seems to be a black control module that's about 4"x6" that slides into a bracket to the right of the steering column. There's also a green speed buffer that looks like it can also be removed. There's also a white spring loaded switch that has a vacuum line routed to it that I think is a vacuum resume or something like that. It, too, looks like it can be removed.

I'm wanting to remove these modules and their bracketing as well as the wiring harness. Is there anything else I need to be aware of?

Thanks in advance!
