Re: Spindle Question?

Dropped spindles will generally have the spindle hub higher on the body of the spindle & the spindle hub for an OE unit would be located closer to the bottom of the spindles body. Make sense? Another suggestion is most mfr's will stamp p/n's on their respective parts. If there are any numbers, google the number & see what you get.

ok, i was wondering with a 72 c10
i have been reading that Z'ing the frame 3 inches will allow you to lay frame on 24"wheels or 30" tall tires,

now my question is, will three inch drop spindles do the same, without Z'ing the frame??

Re: Spindle Question?

At that tire height, no, you can't lay frame w/a stock front suspension & 3" drop spindles. You can't lay frame w/a 3" 'Z' & stock spindles.
You need the 'Z' & the spindles (or a Dropmember & spindles).
