im not sure yet on what to charge. after all is said and done i will have invested about $1062.00 to get to the first part complete. not to mention the countless hours of research and development...trial and error over the last 3 months.

Those parts all look to be very very nice. Good job on taking the initiative to get these done and producing such nice pieces. Are these being made on a 3D printer?

I think that is a very reasonable amount to spend to get something reproduced from start to finish. This should be very profitable

Re: 1964-1966 center a/c vent

okay I'm thinking if you want the entire assembly that will include the face plate the 2 vent ball mounts all 3 vents (chromed) the felt and the hardware $300

chromed vents will be $50 each. it costs a lot just to get them chromed.

ball mounts $20 per set.

face by itself $150

if you want the felt i just buy it from Brothers its $17.97 a set. i will buy it for complete sets only.

let me know if that sounds reasonable.

i think the first complete assembly will be ready in about 2 months. the face plate by itself could be ready next week as well as the ball mounts. the vents take 5 weeks to get back from the chromer and i have not started on the center vent yet.

PM me if you want to place an order and or availability

I think that is very reasonable. I don't have the extra funds right now, but hopefully in 2 months I will.

I'll Take a face plate

Re: 1964-1966 center a/c vent

Do you have pictures of the full face plate installed on a truck yet?

Also, for your own sake you really will want to get rid of the chevy logo or figure out the licensing for that; my understanding is they come down on reproduction companies quite quickly for unlicensed use of that logo.

Re: 1964-1966 center a/c vent

no installed pics yet. i don't have a/c in my truck. this is the reason i wanted to do this project. ill try to make this short. my wife left me last year and I'm still in the house. i don't make enough money to live here by myself so i had to get roommates. when the roommates pay on time its okay but not a great situation. Ive been wanting a/c in my truck ever since i bought it and when i was married i could save the money to do it. well as I'm sure you can guess all that money is gone and i have been selling all my stuff to make ends meet and to fund this project. this part I'm making could be a big help. even if i sell 3 in a month i will be fine. sorry to give you all my sob story but this is my motivation. and yes i still want a/c in my truck Phoenix is one of the hottest cities on the planet.

Count me in as well. Haven't found even an a/c truck with the vent gone out of it around here. Lee

Sorry about the personal situation with the wife, I know how it feels. Best of luck with this, I think you have found a niche that will pay off well for you. I will be needing some of these when you get ready to take them to market.
