suburban 1979 - noise from automatic transmission
good morning.
I have a question regarding a very quiet noise when I start driving with my 1979 chevy suburban big block / TH 400. It happpens not in N or P, only in D I have checked the automatic transmission oil level. In P. Hot engine. It is full. Not when the car is running ... only when I start running ... driving. also when I drive uphill. Very quiet, sounds like "sucking oil" ... Any suggestions? Thx in advance, Stephan |

You may have to pull the pan and make sure the tube did not come out of the filter or the center bolt holding the filter up has allowed the filter to drop off

Anyone own a factory 454 1979-1980 suburban? I really need a picture of the emission sticker diagram please! Thank you
