Picked this up several years ago and have been hoarding pictures, plans change but for now the plan is 3/4 ton running gear, lift and some 35's, bench seat front, CST buckets in the middle, and rear seat, and the entire exterior Rhino Lined in the Medium Olive W/white top. Wife loves how the Highlander Plaid looks but wants brown vinyl/leather so not sure if we are going to commit to the Chevy Plaid. Ultimate goal is to have a fun family hauler.

Man I like it. I got a 72 recently. I’m gonna run front buckets and two benches. 35s and 4 inch lift. Just got a gear vendors overdrive so cross that off my list. Great family hauler you have

That sounds great. What did the Over-drive run you? After driving this around pretty sure I'm gonna need one as well.

I was too lazy to go get my trailer so I threw a tarp in the back of my Jeep and went to retrieve the engine that was pulled from the Suburban.

My son and I tore it down.

HaHa, That's too cool,.... both hauling the engine in the jeep and the great helper you have. Looks like he isn't afraid to get dirty...:)

I had a guy pickup a Lexus motor from me - he put it in his new Tahoe. I thought he was crazy but when he asked if I had any cardboard to rest the motor against the tailgate I knew he was :) He had a liftgate and we had to open the window and the gate to get the motor close to fitting in with the sherry picker!

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!

Nice work Travisarmenta

I wish I could take the credit for them, my metal guy is awesome.

Found a few pics in my phone.

The rims & tires are the ones that will eventually go on it. Scored'em for $400.00

What are the plans for the rust around the windshield?

Old pics, my rust guy buttoned it up and put some epoxy on it. Already has a new windshield.

Kudos to you for saving that Burban and passing the torch to the next generation! Looks like good work from all hands. I wish your seat mount guy was closer.

It's out of love not intelligence that's for sure. knowing what I know now. I would have spent the money on a rust free Burb from out west.

But where's the fun in that?
