This thread started 7-10-13. Is it that difficult to find an original seat for a pattern and get down to business? http://sacramento.craigslist.org/pts/4829122031.html

I know this thread is deader than dead.. but I'm in the market for a quality, near factory seat cover for my 64. Did this go anywhere or just thrust and no vector?

We still have not found a good enough cover to build a pattern from at this point. Sorry we can't help yet. We're not giving up yet.

I have an NOS upper and lower 64-65 vinyl cover, but its heat formed . Is that something you could do ? I also need a 1963 GMC seat cover made in vinyl and have a decent used cover for a pattern, its ripped but mostly there.

You've had offers to give you covers for patterns going back three years.

Yes, I would need the seat cover to get the process going. I am actually looking to find a cover I can buy and use to build a pattern. I am really busy and don't want to put myself under a timeline to complete it. I am very interested in making this happen. Thanks again.

Are the pictures you posted of the upholstery of the same material? It looks like 3 different patterns and colors to me. I am very interested in the last one if they are different. Can you give me some details or numbers on how to find it? Thanks!

I would like to buy a set of seat foam for a 67-68 C10 with buddy bucket seats. Do you still have them?

First post and thought I would share the seat I just got back for my daughter's 63. She wanted something similar to a 70's era truck. Great work by Bell Auto Upholstery in Phoenix. Matching visors were previously custom ordered from stockinteriors.com. Truck is going to be painted original light green.

I finally got this seat out of a '63. If member Truckseats thinks there is enough here to work with and make this style of seat coverings, I will be willing to remove it and send it to him.

Since this has been brought back from the dead files, I'd like to toss out an idea.

With so many guys running the newer 2000's style buckets like I'm planning on running, I think it'd be kinda neat to have replacement covers that are simular to stock for the newer seats. Not an exact reproduction of course. Just a nice budget consious representation of stock for the newer seats.

Like myself, find a decent set of used seats and the covers are worn, then you can get some nice covers for your seats.

I’d be willing to go full retard on a ‘66 Custom cover. Be nice if this could get off of the ground.
