Thanks Jason, I'm clearing some room now. I have the front suspension and brakes installed except for the rack.

If your thinking about ordering anything its definitely worth it to take advantage of their sale. Plus I had my rear brake kit in 2 days.

Ok, so I got the front suspension finished up along with installing the Wilwood brakes. While I was at it, I threw a wheel on to see how it looked. I love the way its looking :metal: Definitely glad I went with the 14" front brakes, the 20" wheel swallowed that 14" rotor quick.

Much better progress than me today. Looks good. I agree on the 14/20 combo. I've been trying to talk myself into 13"s up front and 12"s rear to save some money but love the look of your wheel/brake combo.

I always look forward to your weekend updates!!! You've convinced me now that I need 14" rotors too

Might of missed it, but did you get the front brakes as a kit(Hub, Rotor, Caliper, Bearings...)? If so, could you post part number and supplier?

It took me part of Saturday and all day Sunday to get this much done. I'm a slow worker  I checked out your build, it looks like you got a lot done especially with your back being out. I was going to do the same thing for brakes, 13" front and 12" rear but I really wanted a 14" rotor up front so I spent a little more money then I thought I would, but its worth it.

If you already have drop spindles, look into the Pro Performance 14" F/R kit. It looks to be a really nice kit at a great price. If I didn't have my heart set on the Wilwoods, I would have went with this kit.

Yeah the front brakes came as a kit, everything is included except for the CPP Modular Drop spindle which you have to purchase separately. I ordered the front kit and spindles from Summit Racing. The part number is 140-10776-DR. Check out Laid Back Recreations if your looking into purchasing it, I saved a lot over Summit on my rear kit I ordered through them. I wish I would have ordered my front kit from them as well.

Thanks Scott, I really like it too. Went together with no real surprises. All I have left is to mount the rack and pinion steering.

I have brake envy! I've been wanting 14" Wilwoods for a while now.

I have to keep telling myself they aren't important at the moment. Must... stick... to... priorities...

Ok question that has come up for me and have never seen it posted. Are you pressing in your ball joints for mock up?

I hear you, I wanted them on my previous 68 but went with a 13"/12" setup! It's probably overkill, but I don't want to have any regrets with this truck!

Yeah I pressed them in for mockup! I'll remove them when I pull the frame apart for powdercoat and paint.
