Interesting. It is a Janesville truck, and they often placed the Deluxe emblem centered under the Custom/?0 emblem - so maybe it was the same guy that didn't get the memo that was workin on the line on this one too.. Cool truck. It's kinda funny, if ALL of them were centered, we'd probably think it looked "right" - but, personally, it drives me nuts because only one place centered them and, therefore, the others seem "right" to me. Ha. I'm a little weird I guess.

That K20 is interesting but has been redone before. The bed was changed or filled at one point. It has the aux tank gauge selector switch but no filler neck.

DETAILS:

Here's the deal, kids:
This is a 1971 C/10 with a 454 engine backed by a TH400 neck snapping transmission. This is not a luxury sports car, or a maintenance-free disposable import. It has crank windows, wind noise, and character.

-I don't know how many have owned this C/10. First owner probably barely got it dirty.
-I have remedied this excessive caretaking with having a pile of fun.
-The HP rating? I don't know, I'm not collecting statistical analysis points.
This is a classic piece of art that is a bad ass MOFO.

QUESTIONS:
-Why are you selling?
I can't justify owning it anymore. Motorsickles, kiddos, work, travel, and beer have consumed my time and money and it's time to move on to a new project.
Someone else needs to appreciate it for what it is: awesome piece of mechanical artistry.

What's wrong with it?
It needs to be driven and appreciated and it's pissed it has been neglected. It needs love.

This stunning garage kept 1971 Chevrolet C/10 is a beautiful show quality truck. The body is arrow straight. All chrome and stainless moldings are in great shape along with all glass and weather stripping. The interior has been finished in a beautiful black and white hounds tooth seat cover, factory rear sliding window, A/C cab, tilt steering wheel. All lights, factory and aftermarket gauges work properly as well. The drive train consist of a ground pounding Mark IV 454 backed by a purpose built turbo 400 automatic transmission, 12 bolt posi-trac rear axle with a 3.73 gear ratio. The truck is also equipped with factory power steering and power disc brakes and sits on Intro Twisted Vista II 18x10 and 18x8 billet wheels. This C/10 is truly a ground pounding head turning beast ready for your local parking lot scene.

his 662- phone number is from N. Mississippi and he's allegedly moving to Memphis, reason he posted ad there..

he said he was heading to Albuquerque this week for an appointment and would work out a shipping deal..

Selling my 1971 gmc 2500, 3/4 ton, 2wd. It has a small block 350 in it. Runs and drives great, starts up right away in the morning. I've had this truck as my daily driver. Has ac and heater that works. Also the truck came with the factory option "Max Traction"
It is a rare factory option that equipped the truck with a Dana 60 rear axle rather than the standard Eton.

Nice classic 1972 GMC 2500 Custom, good solid survivor truck. Runs out good. Has a strong running 350 with 4 barrel carb and 4spd trans with heavy duty radiator and factory heavy rear springs. Was stored indoors in a garage for many years before I got it, 2wd. Very nice interior with the custom package and delux seats and door panels, very solid truck! Lived all it's life out in the dry dessert like climate in eastern Washington. It fires up and runs good, but power steering whines a little and will need a muffler eventually as it's a little loud but does drive out good. Asking 4600 obo with clean washington title. A few things I noticed about that blue 68 4x4, it lists body side molding, but it doesn't have the tailgate or tail light trim ( it should have it) Also, it has a wood bed floor, but it's not listed on the SPID. Also doesn't list it being two tone with the with top. It's a very cool truck though.
