Its been a lot of fun here. Most guys here are good people and I have gained from their advise with various topics.
I have enjoyed cars and trucks for 50 or so years. Ive had several 67-72 c10s 3 corvettes Z28s Trans ams ect ect.
I made my commitment to no more painting ect by selling my large industrial compressor and related equipment.
I personally painted over 150 cars trucks myself
Times change and I have... I know.
No where is this saying its a passing thing...I still turn my head at a sharp older car/truck but crazy costs/no junkyards really changed it for me.
SO Thanks to all the great guys here. Thanks for all the advice on wiring, installation, correct procedures of things ect.
THANK YOU ALL AND KEEP ON TRUCKING....BYE!Attachment 1931329 MY LAST 72 SHORTBED JUST SOLD 7 WEEKS AGO

Chip, hope to see you again! You've been around here about about the same amount of time as me. I hear you on the expense! It can be a bit much. But part of that is paying for something to do with our hands, which directly translates to allowing our brain to "let go" of the other stuff - I like to consider it as "therapy without the therapist". I like it better that way.

( PS - buy my truck! )

Take care Chip! We sure saw some changes thru the years! Nice to have known you! I'm in the same situation. Sold my 68 last fall with the 57 chevy 210. Not looking back, but looking to the future of living in an RV for retirement. No house, no rentals, no old cars/trucks. Just retirement in the South during winter and Wisco in the summer.
