I forgot beginning of the week changed out the hard brake lines for new pre bent SS hard lines. And put a new prop valve on also.

Brake lines. Also in the pic is my Moser rear dif cover I put on when I did the rear gear. Now that cover is a big chunk of aluminum for sure heavy duty. You can also see the Borla mufflers in the background a little.

Another set of new body mounts. Picked up the CPP body mounts. I have the red energy suspension ones now and they looked good in a article I read online. But after getting them and putting them on they look more ricer than I want. So got black this go around. Matches everything better.

Today is the 1 year anniversary!!! I am proud of my truck. 4th of July no better day to celebrate!! I little picture tweak for you all. This is before I started heavy upgrades to it. This is one of the first pics I took of it.

Thank you.

Well the pic is flipped sideways but if you look I put this nice polymer type flex wire braid over all the wires in the engine bay. I like the look of it better than the corrugated wire cover. Gives it s clean look.

Ground clearance. This is the lowest point of the truck and the control arms. Gives you a idea of how much clearance I have.

Got the new shocks today got the front installed. Will be installing new flip kit and shackles tomorrow with rear shocks also. The new shocks compared to the old ones not a major difference imo. The slammers are a little firmer which I like compared to the Belltech SP which compared to the slammers fell spongy. Both ride good.

On the truck. I was going to put the stickers on them but I have a little boy that wanted them for his power wheels. So he got one and the tool box got the other.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Took the truck out last night for a little ground pounding and I will have to say I really do like the slammers better than the Belltech SP. A little firmer/tighter feel and makes the truck feel better up front. With the 6" drop in the front with the SP I felt that I could bottom out. Which I wouldn't cause of the bump stops but it felt that way. Don't get me wrong the SP are really nice riding shocks but just felt spongy in the front after I changed the drop up front. So for me I really like the ride and road feed back from the slammers. I don't know if this is the best comparison but I still have the SP in the rear "after today I won't" but just going over bumps and dips in the road you can feel the difference. Firm up front spongy in the back. And when I say firm I don't mean knock your teeth out firm just a good solid tight feel. So far so good.
And sorry for all the spongy references my son has been on a spongebob kick the last 2 weeks lol.

Man you have gone above and beyond with the upgrades. I like your style. I have a lot of the same upgrades for my dually but you're way ahead of the curve than me...

Thank you! I tried to take it Easy on the upgrades had a plan and everything but I got the fever for upgrades. And my plan got blown out of the water. Lol. I just really enjoy this truck and making it drive and look better than it does if that is possible. I got more up my sleeve for it haha!

it was already a nice truck, it keeps getting better and better! Did you have to do any modifications when you re-installed the front inner fenders

Thanks BM. Funny you mention that I was actually going to post about that. With the 5" drop in the front and stock fenders I did not have any rubs or scrubs. Now with the new 6" drop I drove it yesterday evening and didn't notice any rubbing but it did rub the top of the inner fender when I pulled in the driveway with wheel full turn. My driveway I would guess is at a 45 degree angle. But driving around town I did not feel or notice any rubbing. But this weekend I will test it out to verify. No rain in the forecast. But I like the look of the 6" with the 22" wheels better than the 5".
