Can i use this intake with this rusty surface?with gasket sealer?(pic inside)

Hi i have a question the only intake i can find at a wrecker in my province without spending like 400 on a edelbrock was this one,i have been searching with no luck for a replacement,,, it has some rust/pitting issues on the surface under the egr side, i was wondering if i clean it up real nice with a very fine grit sandpaper and then use that permatex ultra copper max temp gasket sealer thats good for like 600f with a putty knife and fill in the divits, this engine uses a metal valley pan instead of 2 long gaskets, if i make it flush it should seal until i find a replacement later on? any thoughts or opinions would be greatly valued,* i understand i should replace it, but do you think my divit fill in would do the trick for now? other side is shiny smooth)
thankyou for taking a look

Spring time in Saskatchewan, yet!
Don’t bother filling it. Use some right stuff sealer on both sides of the pan and bolt it on.

Do me a favour!

2nd skipping the sanding. Instead use a wire brush(hand or drill powered) to clean most of the rust out of the pits. That way, the sealer will do a better job of sealing.

ok so i did some work on it and this is what i have now, i was suggested to fill in with jb weld the pits and sand level, i was thinking just that high temp copper permatex to fill them in and let it set so it has some flat sealing cusion if i could get opinions after i sanded and worked it a bit.
the other side came out great, i didnt really want to work that spot too much and take too much off of it so im hoping it will seal, but this is what it looks like after, i dont feel as stressed using it as a temp for now just as long as i get those divots sealed, lol
* sorry if the pics big*

You’re over thinking it.
I’ve seen worse that sealed up with a smear of form a gasket.

I've seen worse, but if you feel uncertain a machine shop can resurface those surfaces in a minute.
Go Riders! (but we need a qback)
