Removing cab drip rail caulk
 

Everybody hates all the time and tedious work it is to really clean out the old drip rail caulk before shooting epoxy primer and resealing prior to paint . Put down the screw drivers , hammers and picks and grab an air powered windshield tool (used for cutting out old windshields) They vibrate at high speed and really cut right thru the old caulk and sealer that has been applied over the years , It cleans it right down to bare metal removing all of it and doesn't leave any damage to the metal , You can pick up an electric version from harbor freight for less than $40.00 and other than cleaning drip rails and cutting out windshield gaskets it works great removing old glue in door seals , undercoating and such prior to your repaint project . it will save you tons of time and aggravation :chevy:

Yes, nice tip... I'm about to peel drip caulk. Is that tip blunt all the way around like a screw driver or is it sharp on the edges? I tried a search for a similar attachment for my oscillating tools. I may just modify one of my wore out tips. Should I sharpen edges or leave blunt?

I found a couple attachments at auto body tool mart. Think I will get them, unless I can find a bit cheaper.

I too would be interested in blade specs. I have a Fien and I'm pretty sure it would cut right on through the cab.
