Firewall/ cowl interior paint
 

I’ll start by saying Im not a paint and body man, but have dabbled in it and always been pretty satisfied with my results.
I have a 69 C10. Cab is off frame, and has been blasted with epoxy primer for over 5 years. Ive had it stored inside since it was primered. Called a local paint store and told them Im looking for enough 2k primer 507 brigade blue Paint to paint the firewall, behind front fenders, cowl and inside cab. They said 2 quarts of each, basecoat/ clearcoat and priced it at $350. Said I need to lightly sand the epoxy and prime 2 coats of 2k, 2 coats of base , 2 coats of clear. Does this sound accurate? I havent bought any paint in quiet a few years. I plan to get a professional to paint the outside of the truck later on. Im just trying to keep from having to totally disassemble the truck again after I get it back together.
