Re: Hidden Antenna
I'd hide it in the cargo light.. as it be the highest point anyways..

Re: Hidden Antenna
I'm wanting to do this to my truck too. I've heard that since it's powered you can just hide it under the dash somewhere and it'll work as good if not better.

Re: Hidden Antenna
I bought a cheap hidden antenna a few years ago and I had so many problems with it. It picked up a lot of interference and it died on me just after 6 months. I bought one made by Autoloc for around $40 and I have to say that for hidden truck antennas, they are the best. Easy to wire around and it also mounts anywhere without any difference in signal reception!

Re: Hidden Antenna
I just bought one of these and it seems to work great. Pretty good for only $10.

Re: Hidden Antenna
According to the description, it doesn't work with am. Any idea why? What's the fix for that if this is the case?
|
Re: Hidden Antenna
Hm, to be honest I didn't notice that, and don't remember the last time I listened to AM. I can give it a try and let you know what I find out.

I have one by Tunetrapper. Not recommended. Weak reception.
