This is from my first truck. The gauges were faded so I polished the markings off of the clear plastic and had someone more artistic than myself replace them. They are all on the back-side so it had to be done inversely.

The trucks name was "Thirsty"

The gas gauge was my favorite part.

Custom console & Interior. The thing about this truck is I am the only person that has ever turned a wrench, sewed, welded, or tuned it so I can truly say IT'S MINE! When I needed something for it like AC brackets, seat mounts, exhaust etc I made it. It just doesn't matter what you start with or how much you put into it...make it yours by making as much of the stuff you need rather than running out and buying some doodad for it. You'll like the results much more.

hey fitz, can i ask what these seats are out of?

6 1/2 in the doors and 2 10 in kickers under the seat with a kicker amp.Had to build my own boxes to do this. They are not pretty but they sound good.
It has blue led lights in the vent spks.and 2 blue led lights under the seat. Just need to hide a few more wires.

Love the seats! Just what I need for my new-to-me '68!

HERE'S ONE OF THE THINGS I DID. WELDED IN A ROLL PAN, FAB'D A LICENSE PLATE BOX, AND THEN WELDED IT IN AS SLANTED AS I COULD POSSIBLY GET IT SLANTED. JUST ENOUGH TO CATCH SOMEBODY'S EYE I HOPE. ONCE I GET A 1967 LICENSE PLATE FRAME, AND MY VANITY PLATE FOR IT THIS SUMMER SOMETIME, IT WILL ALL COME TOGETHER. (LOVED THE HANK WILLIAMS JR. BUMPER STICKER ON THE PREVIOUS POST, AWESOME!! )

Sweet!

well lots of fella's did this mod but I'll chuck it up on this thread.
I'm still not finished with these(been jumping around too much on other things) but I've come up with a plan too fab some pieces to connect the front of the tubes too the top and bottom of the front of the c-member the pieces will serve as a mounting point for a hanger down the road

Here is my skull tach. It started life as a fish aquarium decoration I found at walmart. I still want to diffuse the eyes and nose and install some green LEDs for night driving

This is my custom instrument panel I made from an old aluminum sign I had laying around. I had some autometer 2 5/8" gauges left over from a 240z project I had to sell a while back, so I found them a home. I also cut out a matching aluminum bezel for the stereo.

Im still trying to decide what speedometer i want, so that's why there is so much blank space. Im also going to install a few more switches and indicaters.

And here we have my Jager dome light. Cutting the bottle was no problem on my wet saw. Drilling the holes took some patiens, but I made it happen on the first try without breaking it.

A quick run to radioshack got me the switch and prototype board. I already had a bag of high power green LEDs in my shop. I think it came out pretty damn good.:metal:

Close! It tucks up under the dash, and the curve matches the vent for air flow
