Just in... Porterbuilt trailing arms. Taking donations to get more parts and powder-coat! Thinking chrome powder coat or a charcoal grey. Any other colors? Not black, white, red or pink? Truck is going to be Daytona Blue. Florescent green might not make the cut. Has to be "timeless" and likable years from now.

Working in the garage on the rear tubular trailing arm from Porterbuilt. Bags at 80psi full up.

Out with the old boxed and powder coated originals in with Porterbuilt tubular extended 1/2" bars. This will center the axle in the wheel house. Yes there is daylight in one shot but the bolts were hand tight.

Still on jack but tucked all the way. No bump stops or pipe notch. Yet.

Cut the pan-hard bar mount off. Reposition the rear. Did valve cover swap, with hint of the body color. Full down on frame and fender, time for a nip/tuck and pipe notch. Swapped in the MSD Distributor and coil, no more HEI.

Post on trailing arms not working. What's a good price range for the ones I pulled off?

Some updates. Dragged a 4 door dualy to buddy's house. Applied GM engine decals. The 400 is early Caprice which is right size and car wrong year. The 400hp is for the 409. Test fitting Porterbuilt bar and frame mount. Now the axle sits 1/2" back the new mount is relocated rear of crossmember about where the 63-72 is.

Cool build. Do the PB rear arms drop it any over using stock or just move the axle location?

Built in L.A. and has been in Nevada most of its life. Few months in AZ when I was in college.

I believe they have 1" built in but you can get 3" ones. I plan to pipe notch and not go more... for now. They solve the centering of wheels and axle angle.
