Trying to find out the difference between a 1968 c10 front end and a 1968 GMC front end ?

You are going to have to be more specific.

However, basically:
GMC: 4 headlights not two
GMC: Different grill (chrome)

both have the early sloped hood however the hoods might have a minor edge/lip difference...same with the front fenders, left and right.

...we can start there.
