After fighting with the torsion key for weeks i finally got her lifted up. Got the rough country 2.5 inch lift from the junkyard. Still planning on getting my roof rack back on eventually.

He allways has to park next to the normal blazers in parking lots.lol

It's only been about one yr. Now since he got this blazer.
He had put a good sounding muffler on it back then but since then the rest of the exhaust rotted away.
So instead of Mickey mouseing it he is saving to get a nice one made for it.

And he finally put his shopping basket on the roof.

I must say for a 95 it's cleaner than my zr2 that's rotting from the inside out.lol

Not bad for a $290. 95 blazer.
But of course he has some $ stuck into it now. But he got what he wanted(a 4 door)and keeps at it,I just wish he would keep it clean instead of slopping it up in every fun spot he see's.
I feel better knowing he is transporting my grandchildren around in this rather than the beat up 92.
And that rebuilt trans shifts freakin nice.

Since he never does and hardly ever comes on here anymore I took the liberty of takeing the pics of both his rides together and posted them since I just noticed he made this thread.

He recently started putting the chrome stuff on the 67 instead of the all black stuff, still gotta put the rear bumper on though it's just been too cold or soggy out.

I try my best to keep lurking on here. Especially on the s10 side of the forum. I sometimes have to keep an eye on a little troublemaker which usually takes most of my time

Im happy to say that outsyder is basically done, just have to finish up some light wiring and do my big 3 conversion and when i get a good candidate a better exhaust. Most of my focus will finally be going back to my project blackout again and it feels good to be starting to work on her again

We had the kids blazer out for a joy ride a few weeks ago and i decided to take some pics for him.some of you local guys might recognize the fire tower.
The fun spot was fairly dry and didn't produce much joy but we kept on trying.

So on the way out we decided too see how far we could twist it up.

We both knew this wasn't the right way to go about it but wth we had too have some kinda fun.

Pretty much just a stock blazer with a small lift so really didnt expect much but i'm really glad we didn't break any springs or anything else but hey ya gotta play with them sometims rite.
And also that just would've gave him incentive to get new springs and drive the 67 again for a while.

Did nock off the bump stop on the tucked side though.

Its tough to tell but I could've put 2 water bottles stacked under that tire.

He called it quits once the cd's and junk started falling out of his console.

And a few pics of us playing in the recent snow.

This hill is a dirt lane thats not traveled much luckily we managed too get there before anyone else too have some fun in the untracked snow.
Going around the bend in the road it gets slightly off camber.
The snow was slick down under the powder once my tires started losing traction it sucked me rite down into the washout out along the road.:metal:

Little wheel spinning and bouncing around I managed to creep up out of the ditch and on up over the rest of the hill.

The kid had stopped behind me when I was chugging up outa the ditch and he couldn't get traction too get moving again and ended up side ways around my slopped up spot.

So back down the hill I went too give him a few yanks.
on one of those yanks one of our strap hooks slipped of his front tow hook :mm:
We'll i got him set back straight ahead and off up over the hill we went.:metal:

Fun fun.

So now I got one more battle scar on the little blue truck that never gets stuck:waah:

Oh well,no biggie as i plan on finding a flare side bed for it anyway.

We came across a unplowed lot and decide too make some tracks.

They must've been ready to spread some stone in this lot and left a nice pile for us to play on.

We both went over it a few times and did some powdered donuts;) in the lot.
We took some video of each other but I can't seem too upload them.
The pics just don't show how much we beat on our lil' abused dimes.

Well long story short I tried to pose on top of the mound for a pic so I went up it slowly and ended up getting myself beached (high centered) on it.

We tried everything too get me down off it and finally we hooked it up and it took a few good tries till the kid was able too get enough traction too yank me down off the mound.

So in the end I did finally got the little blue truck stuck.

I was idling on top of the mount long enough to melt all the snow off the top..

This was the first time in 15 yrs I've owned this truck and the strap was used too pull me out/off of a situation.

Nothing serious just good fun sometimes ya just gotta take'm out and play with them.

We hit up a few other fun spots that day but it started too get late so we headed back too the blacktop.

Just goes too show you don't need a serious rig to go out and play.
I prefer to do it in the snow as it washes off easier than mud.

It's terrible I post up all the kids doings.
But he is a busy boy...at times.

Pretty sure he has the only 4 door blazer around here now with the spare tire carrier on the back.

Few weeks ago he found a blazer in the jy with a front differential and gas tank steel skid plates.
He didn't get the tank plate on yet though.

And I must say the new exhaust sounds good. It's a lil' loud for a dd but he is a kid we all did it at one time.
