What are you guys doing for running dual exhaust fo SB Chevy?

Are there any kits available online?

What mufflers are you using?

well it really depends on what you are working on/driving. there are a few universal kits out there that have straight pipe, h-pipe and x-pipe configurations. check out the jegs and summit kits

If you have a '63-'72 2wd, Thrush has a kit that they came out with earlier this year. It is marketed as a '67-'72 kit, but it should fit '63-'66 as well.

A reputable exhaust shop (not Midas or any of those big places) can bend and weld the setup of your choice. If you are picky about tips and mufflers it's a good idea to find the inlet/outlet configuration you need and order them, then take them with you. Exhaust is pretty popular so most good shops will have a nice selection.

Turbo mufflers are always a safe bet as they provide some volume under full throttle but they really quiet down during cruise. You can't beat the price either.

Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow mufflers are another good choice. That signature Flowmaster tone turned down a little without so much cab resonance. The idle sounds beefier than turbo mufflers.

These are moderate sound level mufflers. You will hear the exhaust but you will still be able to have a conversation while driving. I've had both of these on my truck with the exhaust run all the way to the back bumper.

All these post are great... I guess I failed to mention that I have a 1955 task force or the 55-59 series truck.

I have found options online for 60's era but nothing on my era trucks for exhaust.

I do like the quieter ride at cruising speeds.

I'm running a 1965 - 327/300 SB with the Muncie "Rock Crusher" 4spd.

I would like to run it straight back for the most part and bend out at the rear of the rear fender.

Any further help welcomed.

I just ordered a do it yourself kit from flowmaster. Part # 15936. I've installed several flowmaster kits on muscle cars, and have always been happy. They don't offer a ready any made kits for the 67-72 trucks so I'm going to have to make my own with their universal kit. I will post pics when I get it made. If you have the ability to make your own, I think that is the best option for a custom exhaust.
