Here is my next project I want to start on soon. 1986 GMC 3500 big block ,400 turbo. Up in the air about whether to keep it like it is as a hauler /ramp truck or scrap the ramp bed and make a dually out of it. Only problem I can see is coming up with a bed. What you guy's think?:gmc2:

Keep it as a ramp truck.

I'd say keep it as a ramp truck. IMO, they're much cooler than a dually bed lol

Also, those trucks tend to pull a large premium around me if they run and drive. If you'd rather have a bed, I'd sell that and buy a truck with a bed.

Heck yeah! That is cool, and I agree with the others about keeping it a ramp truck.

I agree with everyone else - keep it as a ramp truck.

Is that your crew cab dually behind it?

Yes it is a 1978 crew cab dually that's my son's future project. Trying to get the 454 engine and 400 transmission from him too. He wants to put a 6.0 LS engine in it.
