Looks like a pretty nice survivor Charles. How is the cancer in the cab corners, rockers etc.? I would think in SD, it may be pretty bad unless it was kept inside most of it's life. You said 54K original miles but has it been restored or anything or is it "original"?

Is that moisture from the heater core I see on the front and rear glass?

those are original miles on the pickup. most all the miles were in new mexico. there is no rust coming through anywhere on the pickup. there is some surface rust on it but its not that bad. it has a 307 with 3 on the tree. The windows were frosted up from the leaking antifreeze. i bought it from the original owners neice. they moved it from alberqurque to aberdeen south dakota where it was stored in a garage.

i bought a grant mahogany steering wheel today. it is one of their collecters edition wheels. it has 3 polished alluminum spokes. i got the billet instalation kit, so that should solve the crappy wheel problem :metal:

If I wouldn't have seen that truck with wheels or a bed I would guess you were building an off road pre runner to race baja! nice fab work do you have a build thread on it?

Here's my 72 C20- automatic, power steering and a good job by someone (not me) of converting it to 4 wheel drive (note how low it sits) A 4x4 that a 44 year old can easily get into! Pic taken in front of Surry County Courthouse, Dobson, NC Kevin B.
