1971 C20 8 Lug Wheels 9.5R16.5
 

Alright, I'm not a wheel expert. I believe these are original wheels from a 1971 C20. I bought a rolling frame and swapped the front crossmember, power steering, disc brakes, and rear axle onto my 1968 and these wheels were on that frame. It appears that one wheel is a little different, but I'm not really sure. I'll post additional pics of that specific wheel. The three wheels on the left are the same and the different one is on the right. All the tires are shot and should be replaced by the buyer before driving with these wheels.

$150 + shipping. I will gladly work with the buyer to figure out cheapest shipping; however I have two little kids (2.5 yrs and 6 months), so please be patient with me because I may have to wait a day or two to get a quote depending on childcare.

I've heard Fastenal and Greyhound are good for big items and I'll work on that as long as the buyer covers all costs (like if I have to build a crate or pay to get the tires removed).

Here's a set of tires that I've seen mentioned on the board pretty regularly (Firestone Transforce HT).

If you would like to get them out of your shed I would be glad to take them off your hands. I live in Star Idaho and can use these as rollers for projects I am working on. Let me know and I will make arrangements to pick this week. If you would rather hold out for someone to buy them I understand.

Hi neighbor! I appreciate the offer, but I think I'd like to hold out a little bit longer before I give them away. I was under the impression that these were hard to come by, but I guess I'm also just waiting for someone doing a restoration to need wheels. I think I'll give it another week before I'm desperate enough to give them away.

Consider this a bump to the top. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they're not hard to find, especially the 6.75x16.5 rims you have. Many have tossed the 16.5's in favor of 16's since tire options are limited. I kept a set simply for rollers myself and another set with basically brand new tires took me two years to sell and they ended up just as rollers for a fifth wheel camper.

I appreciate the honesty. At least now I'm not expecting any serious movement on these. I'll give it a couple days and probably end up giving them to landarts since it sounds like they're really just good for a rolling project. :waah:
